3 Pack of Reese's

This girl absolutely LOVED Reese's!!! She thought that the person who invented them was absolutely GENIUS!! One day she asked her brother to bring back some for her from the store. He brought home a 3-pack. She had never seen it before, but she thought immediately of Christianity and what that would mean! She thought of what they could represent, then it came to her!! The three Reese's represented the father, the sin, and the holy spirit! If you excepted them in to your life they would live inside you right!! Well if you ate the Reese's then they would live inside you!! If you read the bible you know God's word and what you have accepted. If you read the label on the package then you know what you are putting inside you!!! She thought it was an awesome thing!!! She thought it was funny too!!!

The love of a mother

Through the storm, lighting flashes thunder crashes! Tears role down my face as my mama grasps me in her arms. Holding on tight. Determined not to lossen her grip on my life. The love only a mother can give. The love to hold, hug, smile and pull through when needed most.To hold close, to let go, to help, to stand beside you through highs and lows. To be the eyes when you can't see. To be the smile that smiles at me. To be the arms open wide. To always stand by your side. To be the rock thats strong for you. To love and to care through and through. To be the one standing for you. When no one's around to hear your cry, mama comes running. When the light goes out and your lost in the dark, mama knows where you are. When all you find are lies, mama's got the truth to say. When your lost and confused, mama always knows the way. How you do it I don't know, but mama please never let go, I want you here, I love you so. Mama please never let go.

Here's another one:

You've seen me in the best and the worst.

You've seen me at the top and the bottom.

You've seen me.

You've helped me.

You've loved me.

Through thick and thin.

You've seen me,

you've cared about me,

you've loved me.

Everytime I fall,

You're there to help me up.

Everytime I cry,

you cheer me up.

You've seen me,

you've prayed for me,

you've loved me.

When I followed the crowd,

You pulled me out.

When I strayed off the path,

you showed me the map.

You've seen me,

you've shown me,

you've loved me.

When darkness falls.

You had the light.

When no one else was around.

You were there.

When I was confused.

You found me.

When I was tramppled.

You let me lean on your shoulder.

You've seen me.

You've found me,

You've loved me and I love you the same.

Love Mama Andee

This girl had someone, someone special. Like a second mom, wait second not LIKE a second mom, this girl was a second mom to her and her name was andee. Mama andee! Andee was the one to run to. The one that would help you through. When you needed a hug her arms were open!!! When you just need someone to say hi. Andee was the one that would!! Andee said that she had adopted this girl and 3 of her friends as her daughters! This girl loved that idea. She had honeslty never had someone like that besides her mom! Andee had also given all for of her adopted daughters a journal hand decorated by her. This was to write letters in to andee and give them to her to read and reply to. This girl loved hers it had felt flowers coming out of a paper flower pot and had 3-d bubble letters spelling her name!! Andee had all ready written the first entry in it before giveing it to her. When this girl read it she almost cried. She loved it so much. She felt to loved and like she was important to someone, not like she was worthless!! To her this was a good feeling!!!! BUT This girls most favorite part was the ....

Spring Break Road Trip!!

This girl's dad was in the navy and he had been deployed for about 6 weeks when spring break came up. Her mom decided to drive out to the place where he was stationed for the time being! She had to drive in a car for 9 hours the first day and 5 hours the next with neck problems!! When she got to see her dad it was all worth it, because she knew that if she didn't go she wouldn't have been able to see him for 9 months!!!! When she got there her dad had gotten off of work and all of them were tired so the familey went out to eat and then they went to thier hotel and he went to his. The next day they went to colonial willamsburg and went to see everything they could in the few hours they had! It was a lot of fun for the family! The next day they went to Busch Gardens(a popular theme park in the area)! They hd so much fun. The day after that they went to yorktown! Then they had to leave their dad and go up to mount vernon the home of our countrys first president! For the final part of the trip they went to washington D.C.!! Mountains and Valleys

After D-now this girl was talking to her mom about it and she couldn't understand why God would put her through so much struggle when she knew he loved her and hated to see anyone of his children hurt! While she was talking to her mom about this and her mom used a metaphor she called mountains and valleys! In this her mom said going to D-now was like being on a mountain top! She was close to God, but she wasn't being tested so to speak, it's coming down in the valleys and putting everything into practice that is the tough part! In other words the mountain is where you want to be, or the good place, and the valleys are the problem sections of your life, the struggles!!! This made it so clear, she finally understood that God put her through those valleys to make her faith and relationship with him stronger!!! He loved her so much that he wanted her to be closer to him! She was so happy she wrote a poem!!

Live on a mountain no growth begins. God sends us through valleys to become strong and uses us as tools for the eyes that see us fall and jump back up after a prayer for help! Back on the peak we grow weak and brittle, but we all fall at some point. It all depends on how we return to the peak after the valley!!

She was so glad! She e-mailed her youth pastor! She wanted to tell everyone!! She understood!!

D-now!

Again this girl was still involved in church! One Sunday her youth pastor made an announcement about a youth retreat called D-now. She wanted to go so she signed up and payed, but she had no idea what was going to happen at this event. The next weekend she packed up her stuff and headed for the church. She got there signed in and waited until the doors to the youth room opened. They finally did. The youth pastor had brought in a band and a speaker!!! The first night was fun! After the service was over the band did a concert! After the concert her and her group of junior high girls and their group leaders went to their host homes for small group and to spend the night! They got their got settled in started small group and during small group talked about the sermon then came quiet time, were you go and pray alone and answer questions in the packet! During quiet time she found this verse:
Psalm 120:1
I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me.
She also found this verse:
Proverbs 8:33
Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.
These verses really spoke to her! She felt like she really needed to be there. That was not even the most intense part, after the games that night, after the worship the next morning, after the sermon that Saturday mourning, after the worship and sermon that Saturday afternoon, after the worship that night, it was the sermon that night that had completely changed her life FOREVER!! She realized that she wasn't using god in everything she did, she realized that she was headed down the wrong path, she realized that she was straying away from the lord her God! She felt so horrible, but then came the end of the service, the speaker said that the front area would be open for anyone who wanted to come down and pray. She started to cry along with many other people, she was taking all this in finally. She went up to the front where some her friends were and she just leaned on her friends knee and cried and prayed! Her life had been changed. After it was all over she was changed for LIFE! She has started reading her bible everyday and has been trying really hard to include God in EVERYTHING she does! She still thinks that God put her in D-now for his purpose and loves enough to do so! Changed or life!!!

The true collage experiance

This girl is in Junior high, but she had a friend that was in collage!!! She and her friend(one that was also in junior high) were going skating with their friend in collage! They had so much fun skating!! After skating they went back to the collage dorms for hot chocolate! The girls stayed for hours, but when the time to go back home came that girls didn't want to go home!! Their friend ended up inviting them to spend the night in her dorm because her roommate wasn't there that weekend!! They were so happy!! They jumped while they called their parents to ask if they could spend the night! Their parents said yes! They jumped even more! They got to take a shower in the dorm showers which was a Little uncomfortable, but they lived! than they got apple juice and chips. When they got up to the dorm room after visiting the vending machines they popped in the movie She's the Man!! That one of their favorite movies, but almost everyone feel asleep before the end! It was such a fun experience, but when they woke up the collage girl didn't wake up very well! She was very grumpy!!! The 2 girls just picked on her all day for being late for picking them up for ice skating! They got to go to church and tell everyone about their true collage experience!!!
