Again this girl was very involved in church and she had a wonderful youth pastor Named Ted!!! He totally rocked!!! On Sunday after the youth group had remodeled the youth room, he did a candle light service. During this sermon he talked about the constant battle for our hearts. The constant battle that God had to fight for our hearts, and the fact that we were the ones keeping him from winning it over completely!!! This really touched this girl. She knew that there was a huge battle going on in her heart! There were many things that God had to fight through to get to her heart, such as Friends among many other things. She really wanted the light in her life. She wanted God to take over completely, But those things still stood on the way. When she went to school, she was striving for these girls (ones motioned in earlier posts) to like her and accept her as she is, not as they want her to be, She wanted people to be nice. She was pretty much tired of school and that got in the way of the battle. When she heard Ted teaching about this she knew that she was supposed to be there hearing that. She felt so bad that God even had to be in a constant battle for her life, her heart. She was thinking about this from then on and tried to help the battle on Gods side of her heart. She knew that since she wasn't perfect (for only God was) he would never get her whole heart. She determined to try. Try as hard as she could.
