The Friend She Found

This girl was very involved in church you see, and she was looking for someone to turn to for help for her problem. She went to this church program called SuperStart!! She loved it, but thats not the only thing she loved. She loved finding the someone she was looking for.... she was one of the leaders there helping out, but she did more then just watch over the kids and lead a small group, she did much more then that. She meet this girl and she talked to her. The girl was so happy. Later that night (since almost everyone was sleeping at the church) none of the girls had gone to sleep. So she started a game of ask-it-basket. The girl put two questions in the basket. One was about Joinor High Friends (this is one of the things that the girl and her were talking about earlier) and about how to know if she was being treated right by them. When she answered the question she said just to find someone that you can go to for help to ask if your friends are treating you right. Well she didn't have a friend to go to to ask those questions. The second one was about how she wasn't feeling good about herself, like how she thought she wasn't pretty and stuff. This question answered as well, you see during SuperStart this was the topic about being gods children and being created perfectly, infact there was this bible verse:

1 John 3:1

How great is the love the Father has Lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! AND THAT IS WHO WE ARE!!

So this is what she talked about when answering the question. This helped a little, but she still felt sort of ugly. So this is the wonderful friend she found. She is talking to her and planning on hanging out with her soon. This was very helpful to the girl, just to find someone that loved and was willing to help her that she felt comfortable talking to. (besides her mom)
